Would you like to see PF in Wilkes-Barre?

Hey folks,

The band is looking for some help setting up a show in the Wilkes-Barre area on Sat April 5th. We'll be in town for the Libertarian Party's State Convention, and, would like to hang out and play a club date that night. Since we're not too familiar with the area, we're looking for help on venue suggestions and contacts.

Feel free to post any info here or email me at dennis@pokerface.com

Wiles-Barre wrap up

Well, it's been a jam packed couple of weekends here lately. We're all recuperating from the latest Kentucky adventure with shows at the Madison Theater in Covington (just outside Cincinatti) and the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot in Westpoint (just below Louisville). Lots of new friends and fans to see when we swing through both areas again.

As I stated in the post above, we were in Wilkes-Barre, PA the weekend before for the Libertarian Party State Convention. What a great time we had. The hospitality was fantastic, and, it was a real treat to perform for so many like minded folks.

The kicker is that we decided to hit several other venues to drop off press kits for future shows. The first place we stopped in was Murray's Inn, about 1/4 mile from the hotel. Turns out the band that was scheduled the following night had to cancel out due to a car accident. The owner was in a pinch for a replacement act, so, we ended up filling the night for him. Granted, it was not the preferred method of booking a show, but, it did help us land a footprint in the area. Our prayers go out to the guys in the other band for a speedy recovery.

Thanks to everyone who checked out the past couple shows. See where we're at next by clicking here: http://www.pokerface.com/gigs.html

Peace,
Dennis

The Staircase 8-12

We've secured a date at the infamous Staircase in Pittston on Tuesday August 12th for a special all ages show. The Staircase is well known for getting some great national acts including Ted Nugent and 3rd Eye Blind. Now, they can add Poker Face to their list.
